Johnny Depp explodes and reiterates that he will never work in Hollywood again: They are disposable

Resentful of the treatment received during the months of his trial against Amber Heard, actor Johnny Depp says he is retired from anything and everything to do with Hollywood.

Depp is making his UK premiere with ‘Jeanne du Barry’, his latest film. The historical film directed by Maïwenn, where Depp plays King Louis XV of France, is a French production that opened last year’s Cannes Film Festival and has now arrived in the British Isles.

For more than five years now, the actor has featured in box-office failures following his fall from grace within the industry as a result of his various scandals.

That’s why these days new interviews are coming out with the actor and the director, with it being noted that during the shooting the team was somewhat afraid of Depp because of the unpredictability of his character.

In the midst of the post-MeToo era, after accusations of abuse by his ex-partner Amber Heard and a series of media lawsuits for defamation (first against the tabloid The Sun for calling him an abuser, then against the actress herself), Hollywood began to close the doors to Depp and his career went to take refuge in Europe.

Depp doesn’t miss Hollywood

Depp doesn’t show that he misses Hollywood and in a new interview, going off on a tirade against the industry’s current top brass.

When asked about his current relationship with Hollywood (“They threw me away”) and whether he would like to work on a big production again, the actor responds by lashing out at the big studio bosses.
