4:18 p.m.
The Red Wings announced they re-signed forward Christian Fischer to a one-year deal with $1.125 million. He appeared in 79 games for Detroit last season, scoring five goals and adding 14 assists.
2:26 p.m.
The Red Wings announced they have signed center Sheldon Dries to a two-year, two-way contract.
The 30-year-old from Macomb Township played with the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks last season. In 55 games, he had 29 games and 23 assists.
He’s spent time between the AHL and NHL dating back to the 2018 season.
Detroit also signed goaltender Jack Campbell to a one-year contract worth $775,000.

Detroit is reportedly signing defenseman Erik Gustafsson to a two-year, $2 million deal, according to Elliotte Friedman.
Gustafsson appeared in 6 games for the New York Rangers last season and had six goals and 25 assists and was a +3.

Detroit confirmed the signings of both Talbot and Lagesson on social media.
12:42 p.m.
Darren Dreger reports that the Red Wings are signing goaltender Cam Talbot to a two-year, $5 million deal.
The 6-foot-4 goaltender started 52 games for the Los Angeles Kings last season. He had a 27-20-6 record with a 2.5 goals against average and .913 save percentage.
12:31 p.m.
The Red Wings reportedly agreed to terms with defenseman William Lagesson for a one-year, $775,000 deal. That’s according to hockey insider Frank Seravalli.
Lagesson spent last season with Toronto’s AHL affiliate to start and then was called up to the Maple Leafs. He was placed on waivers and claimed by the Anaheim Ducks before the trade deadline.
12:10 p.m.
David Perron is not returning to Detroit. The 36-year-old winger agreed to a two-year, $4 million contract with the Ottawa Senators, according to Elliotte Friedman.
Sunday, June 30
10:19 p.m.
The Detroit Red Wings confirmed that they have signed Patrick Kane to a one-year extension. It comes a couple hours after a report from ESPN that said Kane would sign the deal.
The 35-year-old joined Detroit about 1/3 of the way through the season after recovering from hip surgery. He had a one-year deal for $2.75 million.
He immediately contributed to the Wings’ success scoring 20 goals and adding 27 assists in just 50 games.
6:53 p.m.
The Detroit Red Wings said they have issued qualifying offers to several pending restricted free agents ahead of the 5 p.m. deadline on Sunday.
According to the team, they issued offers to Jonatan Berggren, Lucas Raymond, Moritz Seider and Joe Veleno.
By issuing the offers, teams are given the right of first refusal or a draft choice compensation if those players sign an offer sheet with another team.
