Georgia Ellenwood might take the 2024 Olympic Games by storm, as the Canadian track and field star aims for gold medals galore in Paris to satisfy her army of social media admirers.

The blonde athlete was born on August 5, 1995, in Langley, British Columbia. She learnt her profession at the University of Wisconsin, where she competed for the Wisconsin Badgers and won multiple awards, including Big Ten Conference crowns and All-American distinctions.

And her success allows her to have 745,000 Instagram followers, where she documents her life as a pro athlete, such as workout and recovery regimens, and as an Under Armour representative, she gains popularity.

Ellenwood appears to be in a relationship with Adley Rutschman, a professional baseball player who just represented the Baltimore Orioles at the MLB All-Star Game, according to an Instagram photo she posted of the couple on the event’s red carpet.

Ellenwood’s Athletic Career
Ellenwood, 28, has been competing for medals on behalf of Canada for over ten years, beginning with her debut at the 2011 Youth World Athletics Championships in the heptathlon, 100m hurdles, and 200m sprint.

And it didn’t take long for her to find success, as she won the U18s Canadian title in the summer of the same year before competing at the 2012 Junior World Athletics Championships.

Now, 12 years later, with two appearances at the prestigious Hypo-Meeting in Gotzis, Austria in 2019 and 2021, she is aiming for a medal for her country and hopes to build on her good performance at the Tokyo 2020 games, when she finished in the Top 20 in the high jump.

The 2024 Summer Olympics begin on Friday, July 26, with NBC and Peacock offering complete coverage of all competitions and events as the United States attempts to dethrone Great Britain and China and reclaim the medal lead.
