EVERTON ARE NOW TRYING TO SIGN £52,000-A-WEEK INTERNATIONAL STRIKER

Sean Dyche’s Everton are trying to sign Che Adams from Southampton in the summer transfer window.

According to The Times, Everton are keen on signing Southampton striker Che Adams.

The report has claimed that the Toffees have already held talks with the Saints over a potential move for Adams.

Everton are also interested in signing Ghana international forward Kamaldeen Sulemana from Southampton, who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.

The Times has claimed that Everton spoke to Southampton about Adams and Sulemana during talks after the Saints showed interest in Mason Holgate.

Southampton striker Che Adams could find a potential move to Everton appealing

In our opinion, Southampton striker Che Adams could be tempted to move to Everton in the summer transfer window.

After all, the Saints will play in the Championship next season.

There is no guarantee that Southampton will end up in the top two of the Championship table next season or even in the top six.

Everton are a big and established club in the Premier League.

Adams is 27 now and is at the top of his game at the moment.

The £52,000-a-week (SalarySport) Scotland international striker might feel that he would be able to make an immediate impact at Everton and establish himself in the starting lineup ahead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has had injury issues.

Adams has made 124 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The striker has scored 25 goals and given 13 assists in those matches.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail has reported that Manchester United are interested in signing Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton in the summer transfer window.

The central defender was very impressive during his loan spell at PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands last season.

However, Football Transfers have reported that the Toffees do not want to sell the 21-year-old English defender.
