West Ham has decided to fly into the UK today to complete the deal.

West Ham United has made a choice, with Divock Origi flying into the country today to join the team.
According to Sean Whetstone, West Ham will not sign AC Milan forward Divock Origi during this transfer window.

On September 1, the 6foot2editor tweeted that the Belgian international is set to arrive into the UK on Friday, but that the Hammers have no interest in signing him.

This summer, the 28-year-old was extensively linked with a move to the Irons, but Sky Sports claimed on September 1 that he is in negotiations with Burnley and Nottingham Forest.

It comes as no surprise.

With the transfer deadline swiftly approaching, it should come as no surprise that West Ham are no longer interested in signing Origi.

The Irons were interested in bringing him in on loan at the start of August, but his wages at Milan were thought to be an issue.

Since allowing Gianluca Scamacca to join Atalanta, the club has been connected with a number of forwards this summer.

Although the Belgian would have fitted David Moyes’ style of play, the Hammers manager has reportedly been insistent that he did not want to bring in a striker simply to cover a void in his squad.

As time passes and the deadline approaches, it appears that there will be little activity at the club, as they appear to be satisfied with the business we have already completed during this window.
