A report has just given an utterly bizarre valuation to West Ham United midfielder Tomas Soucek.

West Ham signed Tomas Soucek for about £15 million from Slavia Prague in the summer of 2020 (Daily Mail), after he spent a successful four month loan spell at the London Stadium.

Despite a really patchy run of form over the past couple of seasons, the 28-year-old is still absolutely vital to this Hammers team.

He’s obviously very important to how Moyes likes his team to operate but a bizarre report’s latest valuation of the Czech Republic international will blow your minds…

Report shares ridiculous Tomas Soucek valuation

According to TEAMtalk, West Ham value the former Slavia Prague man at a whopping £50 million in the current market.

Listen, I love Soucek’s passion and commitment to West Ham but let’s be real here – he is absolutely not a £50 million player.

He’s great in the air and never stops trying but struggles to complete a five-yard pass. He often slows down our play in the transition and I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t be anywhere near the starting XI’s of the top six or seven in the Premier League.

If we’re being fair, he’s probably worth £20-25 million at the absolute most.

Tomas Soucek is obviously valued very highly by Moyes, but £50 million is taking it a tad too far!
