Coventry City injury news from CoventryLive as Sky Blues boss Mark Robins provides an update ahead of

Saturday’s match with Sunderland

Mark Robins is set to welcome back playmaker Kasey Palmer to his Coventry City squad to face Sunderland at the CBS Arena.

The Sky Blues are also boosted by the news that wing-back Milan van Ewijk is available after limping off the field against Swansea last week with a toe injury, as the team look to register back-to-back home wins following victory against Middlesbrough a fortnight ago.

Meanwhile, the City boss has provided an update on his longer term casualties Jamie Allen, Callum O’Hare and Fabio Tavares who are all back on the grass at Ryton and working towards their comebacks to action.

Palmer sat out last weekend’s 1-1 draw in South Wales due to personal reasons, but the manager revealed today: “Kasey is back and been training this week, so he’ll be involved in some capacity tomorrow, yes.
