a positive Eric Stokes injury update for the Packers
The Packers received a great Eric Stokes injury update before their Week 5 game against the Raiders on Monday night.
With a crucial Monday Night Football matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5, the Green Bay Packers are currently 2-2. The club must be feeling a little low after last week’s devastating NFC North loss to the Detroit Lions. However, everyone on the Packers defense will be feeling a little better following the most recent Eric Stokes injury update.
Using a picture of the two cornerbacks on the field and the caption, “Eric Stokes and Jaire Alexander participating in individual drills,” Packers USA Today beat journalist Ryan Wood posted on Twitter. Stokes’ first session of the year after sitting out the second half of 2022 d

The Packers defense will benefit greatly from Stokes’ return. In the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the cornerback, age 24, was selected. He has 81 tackles, 14 passes defended, and an interception over the course of his 25-game NFL career, starting 23 of them.

As the Packers attempted to make the playoffs last year but eventually failed, Stokes missed the final eight games. The club currently holds the 20th and 22nd spots, respectively, in scoring defense and yards allowed. A strong-tackling CB like Stokes will assist with that because they are 30th in running yards allowed but 11th in passing yards allowed.
It appears that CB Jaire Alexander could return from his back injury this week as well thanks to Wood’s tweet.
When Eric Stokes returns and joins the other seven first-round picks on the Green Bay defense, he will be a major asset to the team, regardless of whether or not he will participate in the Packers’ Week 5 game against the Raiders or at a later date.
