Up next for Crystal Palace in the Premier League is Burnley at Turf Moor – here are all the latest Eagles injury updates.

The lack of depth combined with the current key players injured is causing some issues, but the squad Crystal Palacelooks like it could be a lot stronger for the match against Burnley.

The last two games for Crystal Palace have both been losses, with one goal scored and six conceded. Here are updates on all the first-team players currently sidelined.

Crystal Palace injury update

At the moment, there are five players currently injured at Palace. This list has massively reduced from a couple of weeks ago when the injured players was in double figures.

Some of the injured stars are in contention to make the game on the weekend away to Burnley. Meanwhile, others are sidelined.

Roy Hodgson’s comments on the younger players who came on against Spurs will not help matters, especially with this match against Burnley such a big one.

The Eagles are mid-table. They need to pick up points against Burnley in order to now look down the division again. Here are the latest Palace injury updates

Tyrick Mitchell suffered an injury in Crystal Palace’s most recent game. In the second half of the game against Tottenham, Mitchell went down with an injury and had to be substituted. It was a knock and one which no one currently knows how severe it is. With this in mind, he is currently being assessed ahead of the match against Burnley, but there is a chance that he is available.

Dean Henderson

Manchester United v Crystal Palace – Carabao Cup Third Round

The club haven’t really commented on the injury to Dean Henderson for a while. This is due to the fact that it is a long-term injury and he is sidelined for the foreseeable future. It would be surprising to see the goalkeeper back before the new year as it currently stands. For now, the Eagles are unsure on when he will return.

James Tomkins

Michael Olise is no doubt very close to a return and a first appearance in the match-day squad this season. It is touch and go as to whether he will be available for the weekend. The latest reports from journalist Edmund Brack suggest that the French winger, who suffered a hamstring injury, is back in first-team training

Another key player missing is Eberechi Eze. The attacking midfielder scored 10 Premier League goals last season and he is needed back sooner rather than later. Like Olise, Eze is reportedly back in first-team training, which is great news and no doubt a lot quicker than many expected after his thigh injury. The positive news is that there is hope that he can make the game, but he is still being assessed and most likely will be until the weekend.
