West Ham ace Pablo Fornals put in a good display for West Ham during our Premier League clash with Bournemouth this afternoon.

Pablo Fornals is hugely popular amongst the West Ham fans, and now we might just see the best of him on a regular basis, with David Moyes finally ready to use him centrally.

The Hammers signed Pablo, 27, from Villarreal in the summer of 2019 for around £25 million (The Telegraph).

However, since Moyes took over at the London Stadium, the Spaniard has mostly been shunted out on the left wing – a position where he’s rendered totally ineffective due to his lack of pace.

Things should be different this season though, and I expect him to create plenty for us in the middle of the park. It was another side of his game that impressed me most today though…

Jarrod Bowen scored the opener for the Hammers today with a superb strike from outside the box, and Tomas Soucek got the assist.

However, Fornals needs to be applauded for his role in the goal.

As Bournemouth were about to break away from their defensive third, the former Villarreal ace slid in and made a brilliant tackle on Joe Rothwell.

The ball fell into Soucek’s path and the Czech found Bowen. The rest is history…

Without that superb bit of play from the Spaniard, Bowen doesn’t score that goal, it really is as simple as that.

West Ham will be a much better team this season with Pablo Fornals playing alongside Lucas Paqueta just in front of Edson Alvarez.

Let’s hope that his display today gives him the confidence he needs to go on and enjoy a really successful campaign with the Hammers.
