One big question which is often heard when David Moyes‘ future at West Ham is being discussed is who could replace him at this time. The board have told Claret and Hugh that finding a caretaker boss or permanent replacement at this time is extremely difficult which again suggests that as soon as they do that will be the end of the current manager’s spell at the club. In the following piece, C and H follower Buster recommends his man for the  job – a name we have not heard previously in the ongoing debate. Is this the man to replace Moyes?

David Moyes will never resign as has been called for in some places. David Sullivan will keep him on until the end of his contract, I’m certain. Between now and then a replacement will be sounded out.

If a British coach is what the club are after, then look no further than Kieran McKenna at Ipswich Town, who has yet to take up, a new contract. McKenna is a brilliant tactical coach who learned his trade at Manchester United alongside Michael Carrick and has the Tractor Boys currently sitting in second place in the Championship.

CandH says: Carrick himself is doing a great job at Middlesbrough right now and has the club sitting in the Championship play off positions. This is a guy who learned his trade at the hammers and looks another ideal candidate to us after becoming a hugely decorated player at Old Trafford. He looks a successor to us knowing the West Ham Way inside out and backwards.
