They say you can’t keep a good man down and West Ham star Jarrod Bowen is certainly that.
West Ham’s top scorer was up to his usual tricks against Arsenal in midweek scoring a thumping goal in the memorable 3-1 win.
Attentions now turn to the Premier League for the Hammers and a trip across London to face Brentford.

Both are suspended while there are also doubts over whether Kurt Zouma will be available after David Moyes revealed he has picked up an injury.
Fans will have noticed Bowen’s eye was gushing with blood after a swipe to the face in the win over the Gunners.
Bowen played on after some lengthy treatment and butterfly stitches on the sideline.
The attacker was actually very fortunate he was not caught directly in the eye. Instead he has been left with a wound more commonly seen in boxing or rugby.
Bowen spoke to fans via the club’s social media after the Arsenal win and seemed to be suffering no ill-effects as he looked forward to the Brentford game.
Hammers News has spoken to a key source at the club about the knock after pictures showed Bowen’s eye area looking swollen and bruised after the game.
And while it’s certainly sore, the good news is that it will not keep him out of the Brentford game.

In fact Bowen has now missed just two of West Ham’s 135 Premier League games since he signed for the club in January 2020.
And from what we’re told he will add to that on Saturday.
