West Ham star Mohammed Kudus ‘dead on his feet’ after return from international duty

The online news outlet reported on 23 November that the club are hopeful he will be ready to play against Burnley despite a long journey back from Ghana potentially causing issues.

Kudus has reportedly been suffering from a recurring back injury, with the long flights doing him no favours, but it is not thought to be causing any serious issues as he appeared in both Ghana games

The international break has gone pretty much as badly as it could have for David Moyes’ team. With Michail Antonio having injured his knee, Jarrod Bowen sent home from England duty, and now Kudus’ situation, three star players could be missing from the Burnley clash.

West Ham will be relying on Kudus’ fitness with the other two missing, as his ability to play in Bowen’s position coming inside off the right makes him the ideal replacement, while his knack for goals will help in Antonio’s absence.

If all of the attacking stars at the London Stadium are to miss any period at the same time, it could spell issues for Moyes and his team, as questions will be asked about where the creativity and goals will come from without these three in the side.

Antonio has been in poor form of late, but his likely replacement in Danny Ings hasn’t been any better, while if Kudus is not available to fill in for Bowen, the out-of-favour Pablo Fornals could be called upon as well as Said Benrahma.

In other West Ham news, a verdict has been shared on the possible move for Dominic Solanke.
