Chris Olave, Cam Jordan are questionable against the Lions. Here’s the full injury report.

The New Orleans Saints will have to possibly wait until the wire to find out if a pair of marquee players will be available for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) and defensive end Cam Jordan (ankle) were the four Saints listed as questionable ahead of this game. Olave remains in concussion protocol, but he was a full participant Friday for the first time all week. Jordan, by contrast, did not practice this week, though coach Dennis Allen said they’d give the veteran every chance to play if he’s physically able.

Olave and Jordan joined kicker Blake Grupe (groin) and center Eric McCoy (shoulder) as questionable.

The Saints also ruled out four players, including a pair of defensive starters: Wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (thigh), running back Kendre Miller (ankle), linebacker Pete Werner (shoulder/oblique) and safety Marcus Maye (shoulder).

Allen said “there’s a chance” Olave could clear the concussion protocol in time for Sunday’s game.

Last year when diagnosed with a concussion, Olave missed an Oct. 16 game against the Cincinnati Bengals after being previously listed as questionable. Unlike then, when Olave practice only on Thursday and Friday, the wide receiver was able to return Wednesday to practice on a limited basis.

“There’s still a step that has to take place here (for Olave to clear the protocol), ” Allen said. “There’s a chance he can clear, so we’ll just have to see.”
