Old traditions are some of the best aspects of college football. Yet, there are far too many times when fanbases take things a bit too far, like on Friday when a dead longhorn cow turned up on the lawn of an Oklahoma State fraternity ahead of their Big 12 Championship matchup with the Texas Longhorns.

This wasn’t some accident either.

Police were reportedly notified sometime around 7:30 AM EST that a dead animal was suddenly on the FarmHouse fraternity, with an ‘expletive’ carved into its side.

Oklahoma State has since released a statement condemning the behavior.

Meanwhile, the guilty party, if found, could be subject to an animal cruelty charge. If charged, it would be a felony.

The fraternity is leaving this incident up to the police to solve.
