BREAKING: The Green Bay Packers Will be Playing Without a Key Leader for Urgent Week 14 Clash Against the New York Giants
During Sunday afternoon’s games, the Green Bay Packers announced that an important defensive player will miss Monday Night Football against the New York Giants. The team is already battling plenty of injuries, including a key one offensively to wide receiver Christian Watson (out). He’ll have a buddy on the sideline now.
Jaire Alexander will miss his eighth game of the season for Green Bay. He’s been battling various injuries all week but was questionable for this game all week. The Packers finally made a decision on Sunday, so he won’t suit up in New York.
On a three-game winning streak that includes the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs, the Green Bay Packers began Week 14 in the NFC’s final playoff spot. They were tied with three teams at 6-6 and one game ahead of two others. With a soft schedule coming up, the Packers have everything in front of them.
First up is Tommy DeVito and the 4-8 New York Giants. The Buccaneers and Panthers will follow Monday night’s game. This week will be without Jaire Alexander healthy, but the team is hoping he’ll be back for the final stretch. Until then, Green Bay has a winning streak to extend on a national stage.
