ALLEN PARK — Ceedy Duce continues to work his way back from injured reserve, and he’s not the only impact defender nearing a return for the stretch run in Detroit.
Edge rusher James Houston also suited up for practice on Thursday, starting his clock in his return from a broken fibula that has kept him out since Week 2. He won’t play on Saturday night in Dallas, but could vie to make the season finale next week, or certainly the playoff beyond that.
“He’s looking pretty good,” head coach Dan Campbell said. “This is just another chance to get him going. Brad (Holmes) and I will talk about it after we get done today.”
Left tackle Taylor Decker also practiced after taking the day off on Wednesday, and there are no doubts about his availability against the Cowboys. He’ll play, giving Detroit a third straight look at its top offensive line heading into the final weeks of the season.
