The Sugar Bowl is happening in a few days and the stars of the Texas Longhorns are ready to face the undefeated Washington Huskies on Monday. With their rushing defense ranking No. 4 in the nation, there is a good chance for Texas to make history with their first playoff appearance. In a recent YouTube video by Austin American-Stateman, he spoke of their team’s starting QBPhotos_ Postgame Celebrations against the Jetss. Sanders said, “cis a great guy, a great quarterback, a great leader… Ever since he cut that mullet off, he’s been a whole new Quinn. And I’m glad he matured and took that step up into being the leader he is today.”
Texas junior DL Barryn Sorrell said of playing at Caesars Superdome, “It’s a blessing to be able to come back. The atmosphere is unreal. It’s the Superdome, it’s the center of the city and heart of the city.” He also added, “It is the type of game you dream for and we know that. We all know we’re on one of our biggest stages out there and we’re playing something. It’s going down in the history books.” Surely the Longhorns have some special techniques up their sleeves.
