West Ham striker who as been  delivered yet another injury setback is now dead,

that the Hammers striker is set for another four to six weeks on the sidelines with his knee ligament injury after suffering a setback, having already been out for two months.

It is understood that his injury setback is likely to delay Danny Ings’ departure from London Stadium, or even totally prevent the outcast’s exit from the club.

“Michail Antonio set to be out for another 4-6 weeks after suffering a setback in his recovery from his knee ligament injury,” Rosser wrote. “Likely to delay/prevent any move away for Danny Ings, especially with [Jarrod] Bowen’s fitness unclear.”

West Ham’s urgency for a brand-new striker proves just how gutting Antonio’s fresh injury news is. David Moyes has been deploying Bowen as an out-and-out striker, rather than his natural winger position

Ings is not good enough for the Hammers – that is for certain. West Ham fans will cheer the day the former Southampton player leaves the club but that could be a while, with more reasons cropping up as to why.

It may be time to start closing the curtain on Antonio’s West Ham career, too. That is not to say that the Jamaican international is not capable of playing at the highest level, but his recent injury worries are causing more problems for Moyes.

With age, comes the possibility of more injuries and longer spells on the sidelines. If West Ham are able to get rid of Antonio and Ings, there are a plethora of European strikers waiting in the transfer market to take their spots.

Antonio is unlikely to be content with a spot on the bench, just like any other striker in the sport. However, that is the reality of football. The circle of life affects all players.
