West Ham have ruled out a move for Peterborough United central defender
The 20 year old has been linked with the club over several months having been offered to the club by former David Sullivan manager at Birmingham City, Barry Fry.
But the Hammers aren’t keen at the £4 million plus £4 million extras Posh want for a player who thus far has appeared in the League One side 112 times in the last two and a half seasons.
Fry told Claret and Hugh that the club had turned down the player and were looking in other directions.
And that was confirmed by a source at the London Stadium who claimed that at just 6ft the player wasn’t considered tall enough and the scouts who had watched him remained unsure in other areas.
However, her confirmed the club were definitely in the market for defenders and although we currently aren’t close to finding players we are looking everywhere.
