Texas On Verge of Losing 4-Star 2024 DL Signee

According to reports, four-star defensive tackle D’antre Robinson out of Orlando, Florida is expected to ask Texas to release him from his National Letter of Intent. On3’s Gerry Hamilton reported the development on Sunday, indicating that the Longhorns losing defensive line coach Bo Davis to LSU has played a major factor in the decision. “(Robinson) had talked to Steve Sarkisian five times since the news of Bo Davis leaving hit,” Hamilton said on The Inside Scoop on Sunday. “I will say this, he’s definitely considering asking for a release from his National Letter of Intent, that’s definitely in play.” Hamilton explained that were it not for Davis, Robinson likely would have ended up at in-state power, Florida. “That’s who he had connected with,” Hamilton said. “That’s who he had the relationship with, that was his guy and that was a big reason when he committed July 20th, he said the development with Bo Davis was a huge piece for his decision to go to Texas over Florida at the time.
