The Apprentice star Karren Brady has shared that how someone acts in the boardroom could be the key to whether they’ll succeed or fail on the show, ahead of its return

The Apprentice is set to return to TV in just a few weeks, with a new group of entrepreneurs hoping to impress Lord Alan Sugar and secure his £250,000 investment.

However, viewers of the show will know it’s certainly not an easy task,y. and now Barroness Karren Brady has shared that being ‘disrespectful’ in the boardroom can get you fired rather quickly

Ahead of the show’s launch, she explained: “Like anything in life, if you don’t stand up for yourself, no one will stand up for you.

“If you’re looking to get a partnership with one of the world’s most successful people and a quarter of a million pounds, you’ve got to stand by your opinions.

“It is important that you stand up for yourself, but it’s also important to watch your tone. None of us like to have a tone that is disrespectful, or particularly disrespectful to your colleagues.

“It’s okay to stand up for yourself, but we wouldn’t tolerate bullying or disrespect in the boardroom.”
