Jim Harbaugh Might Just Be The Next Head Coach Of The Los Angeles Chargers
The coaching carousel is spinning faster and faster each day and it’s really picking up speed for Jim Harbaugh. Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, the Chargers and Harbaugh are within “striking distance” of getting a deal done. League sources are saying that Harbaugh truly wants the Chargers job and he’s obviously been out there twice to interview with the Bolts brass, so it tracks. Reports also indicate that Harbaugh’s wife, Sarah, was on hand for the second meeting and that discussions about Harbaugh’s potential staff even took place. Obviously Harbaugh has interest in the NFL, but the ball can’t really roll until the Chargers make him a job offer. If they do, most believe he’ll take it. If that happens, dominoes will begin to fall all over the place, including in Ann Arbor, as many believe at least Jesse Minter and Jay Harbaugh could follow Harbaugh to LA. The Chargers are also looking for a general manager, which throws a bit of a wrench into this whole deal as well.
