Former Memphis Grizzlies head coach Dave Joerger will be joining Doc Rivers’ coaching staff with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to a Shams Charania report. Joerger will have the chance to compete right away for a championship ring because the Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, are in a win-now mindset.

They were defeated in seven games by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the 2013–14 NBA Playoffs. They were defeated in six games by the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the 2014–15 NBA Playoffs. They suffered a four-game loss against the San Antonio Spurs in 2015–16. The Grizzlies might not have witnessed the final.
