The tabloid stated on its website on January 28 that the Danish team is negotiating for a £18 million contract that includes bonuses and a sell-on clause.

Brentford and Brighton, two Premier League opponents, are reportedly also considering a move for the 19-year-old winger, who attended the same academy as Mohammed Kudus.

With his ability to play anywhere in the front line, the Ghanaian forward would fit right in with David Moyes’ team and link up well with Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta, and Kudus.

Osman is a very raw talent, but if the Hammers choose to spend £18 million on him, he could more than make up for the risk.

Since making his senior debut for Nordsjaelland in February 2023, the young player has made 39 appearances, tallying four goals and five assists. His versatility in changing positions during a game makes him a perfect stand-in for Pablo Fornals or Said Benrahma, should they decide to leave London Stadium this month.

West Ham needs to move quickly before Brentford or Brighton sign him before the transfer window closes if they want to get his signature this month. Although both are renowned for helping young players grow, the reigning Europa Conference League winners might convince the child.

His youth should not be a concern for Hammers supporters, since he has already made his Europa Conference League debut and scored in the team’s 7-1 triumph over Ludogorets Razgrad.

In additional West Ham news, the team has submitted a last-ditch £15.5 million offer.
