REPORT: Caleb Cunningham Returning To Tennessee
Caleb Cunningham, Choctaw County wide receiver, is contemplating another trip to Knoxville, Tennessee. Cunningham told VolQuest that he plans to return to campus following his first trip to Rocky Top for the Georgia game in November. He is the No. 11 talent in the 2025 cycle, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
“It was great; I enjoyed it,” Cunningham remarked about the atmosphere at the Georgia game. “Even though they lost, I enjoyed it. I know they’ll improve, and Georgia is a terrific team, but Tennessee battled to the end, and the atmosphere was electric,” the 2025 five-star says. “The fans were definitely involved; they were so loud I couldn’t hear what the people beside me were saying, and I loved looking at all of the orange clothing all over the stadium.”
Cunningham spoke with some of the coaches, and it was evident what their message to him was. “I got to speak with Coach [Kelsey] Pope and Coach [Kody] Cook, and it went really well. The chats were mostly about life and how desperately they wanted me.” Cunningham values being a priority, and the coaches at Tennessee have made it clear. “I definitely feel like a priority there; I have a strong relationship with the coach; they call me every other day and have good conversations with me, and I feel loved by them.” Coach Pope has told me that I have a shot to start my freshman year if I keep working hard.
