The International prop began his career with the Newcastle Knights, relocating from New Zealand as a teenager to pursue their opportunities. He made his NRL debut for the Knights in 2011, then spent three seasons with the Roosters, where he played in their 2018 Grand Final victory. He later joined Penrith on a two-year contract before being released to join the Leeds Rhinos. Tetevano played more than 120 games in the NRL.
Tetevano has 10 international caps for the Cook Islands and three Test appearances for New Zealand.
Tetevano was released by Leeds last year on medical reasons, but he has subsequently passed a fitness test to take up the offer at Canterbury. The new recruit began training with the Bulldogs’ squad earlier today.
