Top QB Prospect Sends Big Message To Antonio Pierce
Despite the lack of official wins on his head coaching CV, the Las Vegas Raiders must be delighted with Antonio Pierce.
Pierce became the Raiders’ head coach after leading the team to a 5-4 record in the second half of the 2023 NFL season.
Pierce, a former player, was able to communicate simply and efficiently with the Las Vegas locker room, prompting them to play some of their finest football of the season.
Pierce will now have the opportunity to contribute to next year’s roster, and he understands that the quarterback position will need to be addressed.
Although Pierce expressed confidence in Aidan O’Connell, he acknowledged that the Raiders will bring in competition for the starting spot.
Drake Maye, who commended Pierce, is one possibility to keep an eye on, according to Raiders Report.
“First, want to congratulate Coach Pierce on what a great job he did this past year,” Maye said in a statement. “And so much respect for him for earning the right of the guys and the nod from the program is a pretty cool experience.”
