One person killed in early morning shooting in Prichard
“Prichard police were called out this morning on what was initially assumed to be a probable medical call for a black male on the side of the road on O’Neal Street. However, upon their arrival and the arrival of EMS workers, it was discovered that they were at the scene of a murder. MCSO Crime location Investigators responded to the location to photograph and preserve evidence. The victimhas been identified as Adrian Mitchell, 46 years old. A subsequent investigation revealed that the victim was shot numerous times at the Moody’s Motel on St. Stephens Rd before fleeing on foot and collapsing on O’Neal St. Prichard investigators are looking for additional witnesses and suspects in this homicide.
