Simmons had several concerns about the series during a conversation with Chuck Klosterman. His initial criticism was directed at the depiction of Bill Belichick, the Patriots’ former decorated head coach. He discovered that his portrayal differed from the club’s owner, Robert Kraft.
He goes on to say, “If you’re going to do a dynasty and get into some of the challenges, you have to expand on what they did in the first three episodes. I believe their actions and mindset were worth the five minutes. You did not show us what they built. “The real heart of this dynasty begins with the second and third episodes.”
Matthew Hamacheck helmed the ten-part series, which will show its last episode on March 15th. The series’ executive producers are Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, and Sara Bernstein.
