West Ham has signed Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus for at least £38m in a Premier League deal. Kudus scored a hat-trick in Ajax’s Europa League play-off win over Ludogorets. He will cost 44.5m euros plus add-ons and is excited about elite level football in England.

Brighton reached an agreement with Ajax for Kudus, but personal terms were not finalized. Kudus started his career at Nordsjaelland and has scored 27 goals in 87 appearances for Ajax. He also scored seven goals in 24 games for Ghana at the 2022 World Cup.

West Ham manager David Moyes has signed midfielder Edson Alvarez from Ajax for £35m, following the recent additions of James Ward-Prowse from Southampton and Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart.
