Gary O’Neil expressed frustration over Wolves’ decision to disallowed a goal against West Ham United, stating it was a “terrible, terrible, terrible decision.

Wolverhampton Wanderers coach Gary O’Neil criticized the decision to disallow an equalizing goal against West Ham United, despite Pablo Sarabia’s penalty kick in the first half.

In the ninth minute of added-on time, Max Kilman scored a header, potentially changing the outcome of a game. VAR and the referee ruled an offside due to Takanda Chiwera’s position, but it was deemed irrelevant.

O’Neil criticised referee Tony Harrington’s decision to offside a match, stating that he did not receive a sufficient explanation. He criticized the lack of common sense and the fact that a Premier League referee could make such a terrible mistake.

Premier League referee David Moyes made a controversial decision in a match against Tawanda, causing controversy. He claimed that the referee’s offside position did not affect Fabianski’s ability to dive or move, and that he had no explanation for the decision. David Moyes later confirmed the call, acknowledging O’Neil’s disagreement with the decision. The incident highlights the importance of proper game knowledge and explanations.

Wolves have a week off before their Premier League match against Nottingham Forest on April 13. They currently sit in 11th place, a point behind seventh place.
