The Buffalo Bills are expected to be aggressive in identifying a replacement for Stefon Diggs in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Buffalo Bills trade Stefon Diggs and draft picks to Houston Texans, leaving Josh Allen without a No. 1 receiver.

Diggs and Allen’s impressive performances in Buffalo led to the Bills’ four consecutive AFC East titles, with Diggs accumulating 445 catches, 5,372 yards, and 37 touchdowns.

The Bills, currently focusing on Diggs in Houston, are expected to acquire another No. 1 receiver in the draft.

Buffalo could trade up with Chicago Bears, Buffalo, or Buffalo at No. 28 to acquire a receiver. General manager Brandon Beane has shown aggressiveness in trading up in the first round since 2017.

Buffalo may consider trading the No. 9 overall pick to the Chicago Bears to acquire more draft picks. The Bears lack draft capital and may need a second-round pick, two Day 3 picks, and a high draft pick in 2025. This move could position the Bills to land one of the top three receivers in the draft.

Beane’s trade up of Harrison Jr., Nabers, or Odunze at No. 9 is unlikely. The Jaguars, who traded up two spots in the 2023 draft, may be open to another trade up.
