New York City FC returns home after securing a point against Inter Miami CF, with Mat Freeze and Alonso Martinez aiming to repeat their performances against Atlanta United.

New York City secured a crucial win against visitors without Giorgos Giakumakis, despite Thiago Almada’s availability, paving the way for back-to-back home games later in the season.

A heartbreaking draw at home.

Santiago Rodriguez, a key player for New York City, demonstrated his determination and vision against Atlanta United. He created the first chance against Brad Guzan, despite his age. Santiago’s “between-the-line” passes helped capitalize on Atlanta’s tactical disorder.

Bakrar, a talented striker, has shown his potential but is currently lacking confidence. Managers believe he can find his rhythm in the next four games. Atlanta held off New York’s opportunities, with Thiago Almada having a clear chance at goal, but Matt Freeze responded well.

Brad Guzan’s perfect 3 touch play in the third minute of Atlanta United’s match leveled the score, showcasing the world champion’s talent.

New York City FC’s Santiago scored a penalty spot goal, bringing their season total to three goals. Atlanta United’s Guzan saved a goal, keeping the team in. The team faces New England Revolution this weekend, with a win potentially dragging them to last place in the Eastern Conference.
