Newcastle United are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Juventus star Matías Soulé.
The Magpies will be looking to make a comeback in the Premier League after a disappointing seventh-placed finish last season.
They want to add a top-class forward and have set their sights on Soulé, according to Tuttosport.
But Newcastle face competition for the Argentine with Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion also keen on him.
The talented winger has a contract with Juventus until 2026 and they are demanding a hefty €40 million for a transfer (per Calciomercato).
Soulé joined the Italian giants in 2020 from Velez Sarsfield and made his senior debut against Salernitana in November 2021.
Despite his promising start, the 21-year-old was sent out on a season-long loan to Frosinone last term to help him gain regular minutes.
The Argentine enjoyed an impressive 2023-24 campaign at the Canaries, starting 36 Serie A games and scoring 11 goals.
Frosinone ultimately suffered relegation to Serie B despite his excellent efforts to maintain their top-flight status.
Soulé has now returned to Juventus but the Old Lady could cash in on him to help fund their transfer targets this summer.
