Following the sale of Moussa Diaby, Karem Adeyemi is allegedly a target for Aston Villa as an offensive alternative.
Aston Villa is reportedly interested in Karim Adeyemi as Unai Emery considers adding a new attacking addition, according to the Daily Mail. Given that Borussia Dortmund is prepared to sell Moussa Diaby, the club’s choice to search for a replacement winger may be significantly influenced by the sale of Diaby. The German international is being pursued by Chelsea as well.

The team chasing Karim Adeyemi is Aston Villa.
Karim Adeyemi is obviously a deadly attacker, thus his stats do not adequately reflect his significance to Borussia Dortmund. It is well known that the German powerhouses play in transitions, and the winger plays a big role in how they advance the ball. But this summer, he’s been approached by a number of teams, as Dortmund is willing to sell him for a profit.

Borussia Dortmund is willing to sell him for about £35 million, despite the Premier League and other teams showing interest in the player who has only managed 14 goals in 66 games. The latter is that Barcelona has made some inquiries. They are focusing on signing Nico Williams and may go for Adeyemi if that strategy doesn’t work out.

Adeyemi is also a target for Chelsea, who are looking for a left-winger. Despite being left-footed, the German international can play on that side. The Blues are considering him as a possibility, but with Aston Villa now in the picture, they may need to buckle up.

Following the sale of Moussa Diaby to Al-Ittihad, Villa are looking to recruit a marquee player. Adeyemi may not exactly meet that description, but he might still be a useful addition. The loss of the Frenchman does create a hole in their attack, but Emery may be considering other possibilities, such as the German international valued at £35 million.

Aston Villa is considering adding another striker.
Given the connections to Adeyemi, one might presume he is most likely Diaby’s direct replacement. Although he isn’t naturally a right-winger, Emery can mold him into one if necessary. In any case, Aston Villa may consider adding a different winger or another attacking player in addition to the German international.

They have been linked to Joao Felix, who is expected to express interest in joining Aston Villa given that all of his other choices seem to be closed right now. Villa would benefit financially from signing the Portuguese international, even though his pay demands and signing costs could put the Birmingham-based team in debt.
