Georginio Rutter dazzles Leeds United supporters as Man of the Match vs Watford.
Leeds United extended their unbeaten run under Daniel Farke by defeating Watford 3-0 on Saturday (23 September).

The Whites’ outstanding team effort propelled them to sixth place in the Championship table, with 13 points from eight games.

There were, however, a number of outstanding individual displays, including one by youthful striker Georginio Rutter.

The forward was selected Man of the Match against the Hornets, according to the official Leeds Twitter account (24 September).

Rutter’s statistics clearly justify the honor, as he made three vital passes during his 90 minutes on the field, won 11 duels, and assisted the third goal of the day, scored by replacement Jaidon Anthony.

It is not the attacker’s first Man of the Match award of the season, as Rutter also won the accolade in the club’s 3-0 win over Millwall last Sunday (17 September).

Rutter and Leeds fans will be overjoyed with the player’s current form, especially given his well-documented troubles at Elland Road.

The attacker bore a lot of the responsibility in the Premier League last season, despite the fact that the majority of the Whites’ players were significantly underperforming.

He now appears to be a completely different player, and fans of the club have noticed a significant improvement in their record signing.

They will, of course, be keen for his excellent form to continue in the coming months as Farke’s men seek instant promotion back to the Premier League.
