Crystal Palace have struggled with a number of injury problems this season, but they have now been handed a boost as Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze have returned to training.

Olise has been absent for the entirety of the season so far, having picked up a serious hamstring injury during International duty with the France under-21 side over the summer, whilst Eze has missed the last three games after picking up an injury against Manchester United in September.

Palace have struggled creatively in their absence, scoring just once in the three games without Eze, and the two returning will be a major boost for Roy Hodgson.

Eze and Olise return to Crystal Palace training

A report from London News Online has now claimed that both players have returned to training ahead of Saturday’s clash with Burnley, but it is not yet clear whether either player will be ready to feature.

It was previously reported that both players would be touch and go for the weekend, and it has now been confirmed that both are in full training with the rest of the squad.

Eze has made nine appearances in all competitions this season, scoring once, and he will aim to maintain his fitness and get back to their best form as soon as possible.

The game may come too soon for either player to start, but having one or both on the bench could be game-changing for Hodgson at Turf Moor.
