All of Cleveland is still celebrating what was a historic win for the Browns franchise on Sunday. By overcoming two double-digit deficits to beat the Ravens 33-31, Cleveland notched its first ever win against one of their division rivals when trailing by 14 or more points.

The offense came back out and composed as ever orchestrated a six-play, 75-yard touchdown drive that brought the game back to one score. It was a relief to see Moore finally contribute with six and for the offense to answer the way they did on this drive.

Not to be hyperbolic, but this play very well may be the defining moment of Deshaun Watson’s Browns tenure to this point. Final drive of the game, first-and-10 from his own 45, Watson takes the snap, senses the pressure and takes off through a gap, pump fakes, shrugs off a Kyle Van Noy tackle and crosses into Ravens territory with a massive first down run. At this point in the game he was fighting through an ankle injury and trying to just will his team to victory. This is the type of play you traded three first round draft picks for, on the type of drive you pay $230 million for. A defining moment for Watson here in Cleveland.

This is what we’re calling it, right? What may just show up as a 12-yard run in the box score represented so much more. Kevin Stefanski even called it his favorite play of the game. Jerome Ford being escorted by his teammates for a huge first down on the game-winning drive was football art and it served as a microcosm of the game overall. As Stefanski said, “it took everyone to win” and it took everyone on that play. In a game that Cleveland had to scratch and claw it’s way to victory, what’s not to love about a play like this. Dustin Hopkins has been a godsend for the Browns. So many years of never getting the kicker right, the roller coast ride that was Cade York last season and through the preseason this summer. In the end, everything led this franchise and he has been money. Okay so he missed an extra point on Sunday, but when the team has needed him most, he’s been money. There were so many worthy options for the top spot this week, but this play feels like the rightful king. Cleveland had cut it to a one score game and needed a momentum changing play. Ogbo Okoronkwo delivered, creating separation from his blocker to be able to get his hands up as Lamar Jackson tried to throw the ball into the flat and a tip drill ensued. Greg Newsome did the rest racing in with a full-head of steam to snag the tipped ball and make a house call to bring the Browns within one. Just an amazing play that almost got spoiled by Hopkins missing the extra point. Luckily he redeemed himself in the closing seconds. Feels like a fitting No. 1 this week as the biggest momentum swinging moment of the game for Cleveland.
