For Tennessee Football, Kamal Hadden will have season-ending surgery.
After suffering an upper-body injury, Tennessee Volunteers cornerback Kamal Hadden will have season-ending surgery.
Tennessee received some devastating news today, as one of their key players will need season-ending surgery. Kamal Hadden is the cornerback in question.
Kamal Hadden is a redshirt senior who has had an outstanding season thus far. In many people’s opinion, he was statistically ranked among the top five. Throughout seven games, he had three interceptions and seven throw deflections.
He suffered a shoulder injury in the Alabama game after attempting to tackle an Alabama player early in the game. He didn’t enter the injury tent until the crimson tide had scored, and he was plainly frustrated. Hadden returned in the third quarter, although just for a short time before leaving the game permanently.
The excellent cornerback stated earlier this morning that he would be undergoing surgery, effectively ending his season. The Volunteer Corner is wondering where he will go next. Time will tell, given that this was his final season of eligibility. Hadden posted on Instagram, “The get-back starts now.” It is reasonable to assume that the redshirt senior cornerback will be missed in orange and white, but Vol Nation will rally behind him during this difficult time, as he was quickly becoming one of the team’s fan favorites. Best wishes to Kamal Hadden.
