Why Does Browns QB, Joe Flacco Hate Playing In Cincinnati?
After over a decade spent with the Baltimore Ravens, Browns QB Joe Flacco reminisced about some of his not-so-fond memories from playing against the Cincinnati Bengals
We may have found which AFC North team Joe Flacco dislikes the most.
During his 11 years with the Baltimore Ravens, Flacco saw just about everything when it comes to the twists and turns of AFC North football. As the Browns get ready for a road regular season finale in Cincinnati, Flacco took a moment to look back on some of the intense matchups he’s played against the Bengals over the course of his career.
“Yeah, I hate going to Cincinnati,” the 38-year-old QB said. “They’ve always played us tough. Listen, I think my first year we beat up on them and then after, they got good quick. You got to give credit to those guys. They’ve had really good football teams and they’ve beat us a couple of crazy ways, too. They just flat out beat me and the teams I was on and they’ve beaten us on fourth downs, on Hail Mary’s.”
Flacco is 9-12 against the Bengals in his career, the most losses he has against any team during his 16-year tenure, with the Steelers as a close second, who he has a 10-11 record against. Funny enough, the Hail Mary game he referenced from 2013, was actually one of his wins against Cincy.
