A report from Football Insider claims that they will face competition from bitter rivals Arsenal. London clubs Fulham and West Ham are keen on the 22-year-old striker as well.

A transfer seems unlikely in January and therefore Tottenham are considering a summer move for the player. The Mexican striker has 20 goals across all competitions this season and he could be the ideal long-term replacement for Harry Kane.

Tottenham chose not to replace the England international when he left at the start of the season and they have been overly dependent on Son Heung-min for goals. The South Korean international needs more help in the attack and players like Richarlison have not been able to step up consistently.

Tottenham must look to invest in a reliable goalscorer and the 22-year-old seems like a quality future prospect. He has certainly proven his quality in the Dutch league and he is good enough to do well in the Premier League as well.

Tottenham’s free-flowing attacking football could be a good fit for the 22-year-old and it remains to be seen whether the North London outfit can fend off the competition from their Premier League rivals and sign the player.
