Even NFL legend Tom Brady has already spoken his opinion on the matter.

For those who didn’t watch, the Lions led by 17 points at the half but ultimately fell to the 49ers 34–31. Christian McCaffrey and Brock Purdy set the example for the Niners as they pulled off the incredible comeback and advanced to Super Bowl 58.
Notably, one of those fourth-down choices was made in the fourth quarter with the 49ers leading the Lions 27-24.
In the most recent installment of his Let’s Go! podcast, Tom Brady criticized Dan Campbell’s choice. The renowned quarterback underlined that getting the points was what mattered at that point, even though he acknowledged that he understood the Detroit Lions’ desire to be aggressive. Ultimately, it would exert the same kind of pressure on the adversaries.
