Ohio’s Cleveland — Ken Dorsey, the new offensive coordinator for the Browns, was unveiled on Wednesday at a news conference held at the team’s Berea headquarters. Dorsey replaces Alex Van Pelt, who was fired earlier in the off-season and is currently New England’s offensive coordinator.
After Monday’s press conference, Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock, and Dan Labbe talked about what they heard from Dorsey on the Orange and Brown Talk Podcast.

Ken Dorsey, the Browns’ new offensive coordinator, hopes to improve this one crucial statistic that hurt the Browns and Bills in 2023.
Kevin Stefanski: “All right, in a moment I’ll be introducing Ken Dorsey here. I just want to speak about a few of the adjustments we made to the offensive staff. We’ve come a long way over the previous four years, and I want to take a moment to thank T.C. McCartney and Stump Mitchell for being major contributors to that accomplishment. Over our four years together, we accomplished a lot of really great things, and they played a significant role in that. You guys already know how I feel about AVP, Alex Van Pelt. The individual, the mentor. I’m thrilled that he can now run that offense in New England. I’m sure he’ll perform admirably. Bill Callahan, incredibly
exceptional circumstance to go work with Brian (Callahan). Not in Brian’s presence. He will be employed by Brian. I’m eager for Brian to take control of him. Every child wants to be in charge of their parents. I’m really glad for those guys. Once more, I believe that organizationally we understood that was a special circumstance and did not want to impede that. Really looking forward to seeing Brian and Bill down there. Ken was someone we saw early on in the decision-making process as someone who could support me, help us, and play a crucial role in this offensive. Additionally, Ken and I have been acquainted for a short time. If you will, we have somewhat emerged in this field jointly.

I’m not sure how many volleyball matches he played this weekend. Yes, quite a few. However, Ken is a knowledgeable individual who fits in well with our culture and has really succeeded at every turn. We are happy to have Ken join our company. I know everyone wants to talk about play calling. We’ll arrive. February 5th is here. The most significant thing is that I can’t wait to reassemble this offensive with Ken in the forefront. And for that reason, he’s quite happy to be here.
