Premier League rivals and West Ham, a £17 million January transfer target, reach an agreement.

Ibrahim Osman, who West Ham wanted to sign in January, has now agreed to a deal that would see him go from Nordsjaelland for £17 million, and he will sign with Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer.

Another young superstar, 19-year-old Ghanaian, is reportedly on Brighton’s radar and will likely come to The Amex this summer after reaching an agreement in principle with Roberto de Zerbi’s team, according to sources from HITC.

Although West Ham’s interest in Osman is still strong, the Danish player is now expected to travel to another Premier League team. The Hammers and the London Stadium allegedly had conversations prior to the January transfer market closing last Thursday. However, those discussions broke down late in the month.

Born in 2004, the forward started his youth career with the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana before moving to Denmark in 2023. He has since made 29 appearances for Nordjsaelland across all competitions, scoring four goals and registering five assists. The starlet has also gained European experience after featuring in the Conference League, where he scored in his side’s 7-1 win over Ludogorets in October.

De Zerbi has been drawn to Osman because of his versatility, even though he typically plays from either wing. Osman can also play through the middle. Osman should fit nicely in with Brighton’s changing tactics and systems, as the Italian manager has a reputation for doing.
