The future of West Ham United defender Luizão is the subject of a recent story in the Brazilian media.

Even though the player should be leaving the Hammers shortly, the team isn’t making it easy for him to go, according to IG.
Negotiations for a short-term deal have never been successful, despite recent attempts by numerous Brazilian clubs, according to reports that West Ham does not want to loan him out.

Luizão was supposedly valued at €5 million by the Hammers. That appears to have occurred during their negotiations with Monaco, but the French side did not comply with that request.
According to reports, the London team is so opposed to a loan that the player would likely remain in England at least until next summer if Brazilian clubs don’t pay for a permanent move by then.
According to reports, Luizão was put in the West Ham U-21 team in order to “gain experience and understand English football,” which is why he hasn’t played for the first team yet.
The defender’s contract with the Premier League team expires in 2026; he was signed as a free agent in January 2023.
