David Moyes, the manager of West Ham, may quit the team at the end of the current campaign due to ongoing concerns about his job security.

For the Hammers, Moyes has done a passably good job. They won a European trophy the previous season, are presently ranked seventh in the Premier League, and are performing well in the Europa League.

There was speculation not too long ago that the team was ready to give Moyes a longer contract extension, which would clear any confusion.

However, a recent SportLens story asserts that West Ham has become less confident.
Contract talks have been put on hold as they try to turn the recent losses into some victories.

SportLens reports that the Hammers have now considered two names as potential Moyes replacements.
Paulo Fonseca of Lille and Michael Carrick of Middlesborough are being considered, even if no talks have taken place yet. Compared to Fonseca, who has been a well-respected figure for a long time, Carrick is a relatively recent arrival on the European scene.
The former midfielder for West Ham, Tottenham, and Manchester United has established a reputation for himself because to his outstanding performance with the Championship team. This season, Carrick’s Middlesbrough made it to the Carabao Cup semifinals, but Chelsea prevailed.

And while some West Ham fans would be disappointed to see Moyes leave, Carrick is a smart addition to any Premier League squad.
Given his work at the club, Moyes’ job is currently under investigation, which is tough on the Scottish manager.
