Draymond Green Is Blasted by Jusuf Nurkic Following a tense Suns-Warriors game
After their teams’ game on Saturday night, forward Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors and center Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns engaged in a heated postgame exchange.
During Golden State’s thrilling 113-112 victory, Nurkic and Green engaged in a 48-minute verbal and physical altercation as their teams battled back and forth.
When the two clubs faced off in December, Green memorably struck Nurkic in the head and received a 12-game suspension. After that episode, Nurkic expressed his worries about Green.
What is the situation with him? I’m not sure. In my opinion, that brother needs assistance. It’s good he didn’t try to strangle me.
But after the most recent game, Nurkic was less understanding.
It is depressing. Man, he didn’t get any knowledge. All that needs to happen is time. I retract anything I said because he will [attack] someone else again. He is not worthy of a chance.
