West Ham have halted talks on a new contract for the Scotsman, whose current term expires at the end of the season.

However, he does not understand the criticism that his countryman is receiving. West Ham finished in the top ten again last season, winning the Europa Conference League.
On the Go Radio Football Show, the former midfielder stated, “Unlike his teams, they are very strong defensively.”
