Class: Richard Keys Remarks on the Goal Reaction of an Arsenal Star

Declan Rice’s decision to hold off on celebrating his goal against his old team, West Ham, on Sunday was praised by Richard Keys in light of the criticism the Gunners faced following their victory over Liverpool.

Rice put the final nail in West Ham’s coffin as his team Arsenal crushed the hosts 6-0 to add further pressure on David Moyes.

The celebrations at the final whistle when they beat Liverpool were completely different from the subdued ones that followed the goal.

Though Rice scored the game’s sixth goal, Keys, who has historically been a harsh critic of what he believes to be Arsenal’s excessive celebration, was impressed by what he saw from Rice against West Ham.

Considering that Rice’s old team was the opponent of the goal, he believes the midfielder’s play was excellent.

Keys was particularly impressed with Rice’s entire performance that day. According to Keys, the England international now appears to be exactly the player who moved from West Ham for a significant sum of money, something that hasn’t always been the case at Arsenal.
